The Higher Plane began open discussion groups in October 2007 to share ideas on various life-improving topics in a safe, friendly environment, and to begin the process of shifting consciousness to a higher plane of thought. The discussion groups are non-denominational and have been meeting biweekly at Carpe Librum Bookstore located in Homberg. The group welcomes anyone seeking to expand their spiritual territory.

The founders of the group are siblings Gwen Parisi, and Michael Lott and friend Carla Humbard who began meeting in their living rooms to expand their spiritual awareness in early 2007. What began as intimate conversations has grown to teaching workshops facilitating discussion groups, leading guided meditations, and beginning soon a new web TV show called The Lifeline Show. Gwen and Michael will be hosting the show which will be broadcast live weekdays at 9:00 a.m. at Cherries Internet Cafe on Market Square. Cherries Internet Cafe is scheduled to open in April.
